Learn from the Tradition

Masterclasses on the Great Tradition

Our Masterclasses are short, focused courses designed to bring the riches of the Catholic intellectual tradition to life. Led by expert instructors, each course combines lectures, discussion, and primary source readings — available both online and in person across Canada.

Whether you're a teacher, parish leader, student, or simply a seeker, these courses offer a rigorous yet accessible entry into the ideas that have shaped Western civilization.

Philosophy

The Philosophy of Aquinas

An introduction to the thought of St. Thomas Aquinas — the Angelic Doctor whose synthesis of faith and reason remains the cornerstone of Catholic philosophy. Topics include the five ways, natural law, virtue, and the nature of the soul.

Leadership

Virtuous Leadership

What does it mean to lead well? Drawing on Aristotle, Aquinas, and the Catholic tradition of the virtues, this course equips participants to lead with prudence, justice, fortitude, and temperance in professional and communal life.

Culture

Christian Beauty and Art

Why does beauty matter? This course explores the Catholic theology of beauty — from the cathedrals and icons of Christendom to the crisis of modern aesthetics — and asks how Christians can recover the arts as a path to God.

Education

Classical Education for Teachers

A practical and philosophical introduction to classical education for teachers and school leaders. Covers the trivium, the liberal arts, the role of wonder, and how to build a curriculum rooted in the Great Books tradition.
