FINE Gathering in Ottawa and National Prayer Breakfast

Dr. Ryan Topping and Victor Carpay were recently invited to attend the FINE Gathering in Ottawa, an event coordinated by Catholic Christian Outreach (CCO). The gathering brought together Catholic leaders from across the country for a time of fellowship, discussion, and shared vision for the future of the Church in Canada.

While in Ottawa, Dr. Topping and Victor were also invited to the National Prayer Breakfast by MP Shuv Majumbar, representing the riding of Calgary Heritage. The Prayer Breakfast is an annual, non-partisan gathering of parliamentarians and community leaders who come together in a spirit of prayer and national reflection.

These gatherings represent an important opportunity for the Gregory the Great Institute to build relationships with other Catholic organizations and public servants who share a commitment to faith, culture, and the common good. As the Institute grows, events like these help to establish the kind of network that will be essential for renewing Catholic culture at the national level.

We are grateful for the invitation and look forward to continued collaboration with CCO and the many faithful leaders we met in Ottawa.
