The 2nd Annual Renewing Culture Conference gathers Christians from across Western Canada for two days of talks, seminars, prayer, and fellowship. This year's theme — Bringing Back Sunday — takes up Josef Pieper's masterwork Leisure: The Basis of Culture.

In a world that reduces human life to productivity and consumption, Pieper's vision of contemplative leisure as the foundation of civilization is more urgent than ever. What would it mean to recover the Lord's Day — not just as a day off, but as the source of authentic culture?
